Sharing discounts is also a good idea. Knowing the purpose of your page in quite important as it determines the best way to approach things. Asking questions and providing a gift for taking a certain action works well. Links to valuable information with custom tabs is something I hadn’t thought about so thanks for that.  I always look for suggestions from experts when putting together a Facebook ad. Like you say, it only makes sense, and will increase the Return on Investment (ROI). Social Media Marketing strategies are important as well. Taking the time to plan things out will accelerate results both short and long term. Posting blog articles to different social media sites gains traction over time.     Then, as regards paid advertisement on Facebook, what’s your take on it. Do you advise a beginner to do to run a paid Facebook ads.

    • No I wouldn’t and if you do, keep it to a small amount since you’ve now started, your income wouldn’t be that much yet, try to get the FREE traffic as a newbie. as a beginner you need to be concentrating on building a list. Give that advise to any newbie.

Hi and thanks for your post.  I agree that SMM is very important.  Thanks for the tips on Facebook tips.  It offers both organic and paid for traffic.  I did not believe this until I went live.  I thought no one would listen or interact and boom!, I rvcd lots of interaction.  I need to get the you tube channel going.  I would recommend whenever you go live to ask for likes, ask for comments and ask questions.  Also be consistent like you mention.  Do you have any absolute “do not do” tips?  You mention a few.  Again, thanks for the great post.

  5. Thank you for your post. It is useful for me. I have bee using Facebook to promote my business, but the results are not satisfactory. You have some good points for me to follow, that is Using a mixed media approach.

    I just write some text messages and occasionally I post some pictures. This could be the problem, that is I just do some very simple thing. I agree with you that we need to take innovative ways to promote my business, such as using novel pictures and videos, having fun stuff, and sharing discounts etc.

    Awarding customers is another way to promote my business. Giving subscribers the possibility to share discounts with their friends will bring more customers to my business.

  6. I enjoyed reading your site I did the whole Facebook thing with creating a page for my website last about two months before I was banned from Facebook and haven’t been aloud back on sense. But with that in mind Facebook, Instagram all those social media sites are a good target for your traffic.
